PhD Theoretical Particle Physics, University of Glasgow. Computational research project involved Hybrid Monte-Carlo supercomputer simulations of Lattice Quantum Field Theory. Awarded Rutherford Prize for PhD research work. Awarded prize for PhD final year research talk.

Two years Post-Doctoral research experience at University of Wales, Swansea. Worked as part of European Research Network and in collaborations with University of Illinois and University of Oxford. Invited speaker at Massachussets Institute of Technology research seminar. Lectured undergraduate students on Quantum Mechanics. Awarded prize for best lecturer by undergraduate students.

Industrial Experience as research engineer in 3G telecommunications at Roke Manor Research (a Siemens Company).
